FAQ

Untitled-1.gif

How many art pieces and crafts do you need? I ask parents not to exclude any drawings from the "box".

I prefer to sort and choose the art myself. So, include all you have kept or as many as possible.

Where do I mail my kids art? I will provide you my studio mailing address my Email when you are ready to send your package.

Will I get back the artwork you did not use? Yes.

Are there any type of paper or crafts you don't use? Only crafts in 3D that I cannot disassemble, as well as any art on construction paper.

What's your turnaround time like?

My current turnaround time is between 1-3 years. To manage demand, I encourage early reservation as spots fill quickly. Once you confirm, I’ll reserve your place in my calendar and give you a specific timeframe for sending your artwork.

How should I send my kids' artwork?

To ensure your package arrives safely and without unexpected fees. I suggest you use the smallest box or padded envelope that fits the artwork snugly. Creases or folds won’t impact the final product. Declare a low monetary value (no more than $20 CAD) to avoid unnecessary customs duties or taxes.

Do you offer framing? A “floater” type framing option is available if you wish (for an extra fee). Note: As the collages are made on profiled wooden panels, framing is not necessary if you are looking for a “modern” look.

Do you deliver the finished collages? Yes, I do offer delivery, both locally and internationally. Delivery or shipping costs are determined on a case-by-case basis.

Do you need a deposit?

No deposit is required, since you trust me with your children’s precious artwork. Full payment is due only after you’ve approved the final collage (based on photos I will send you) and it’s ready to ship. Payments can be made via e-transfer for Canadian clients or with a credit card via a secure link for US and international clients.

Where should I hang my Art Collage? Art collages (like any artworks, specially mixed media art) should never be placed on a wall exposed to sunlight. Although Art Collages are sealed with three coats of Varnish the last two with UVLS (Ultra Violet Light Stabilizers). A water-based acrylic polymer varnish formulated to provide additional protection from ultraviolet radiation, they should be hung in a room with artificial lighting.

How should I clean my Art Collage? A soft cotton or microfibre cloth (even slightly damp) can be used to wipe finger prints or dust.
